Future Artists Gala
Saturday, April 28
777 Alameda Street
The Future Artists Gala will celebrate the incredible talents of students at America's leading public arts high school—the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA). It will be held at the ROW in DTLA—a re-purposed industrial warehouse in the Arts District that embodies the excitement and promise of the arts in Los Angeles. The event will help raise needed funds in support of LACHSA's dance, music, opera, cinematic arts, visual arts, theater, and musical theatre disciplines as LACHSA develops a new generation of diverse artists and arts leaders.
Founded in 1985, the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts is a tuition-free public school that offers a specialized program combining college-preparatory academic instruction and conservatory-style training in the visual and performing arts. It is consistently ranked as one of the premier public arts high schools in the U.S. Located since its inception on the campus of Cal State L.A., its graduates attend the world’s finest arts colleges and universities. The non-profit Arts High Foundation raises needed funds to bridge the gap between available state funding and the actual cost of the arts programs.
